I guess that will be fairly difficult, because 4 x SB16 will eat up all the
DMA channels a pc has (2 channels needed for each board when doing full
duplex). You will also need some hardware trick to have all boards run off
the same clock.

Perhaps the SB PCI64 (Ensoniq audiopci / ES1370) cards are interesting for
you? These are PCI boards don't use ISA DMA, and have in addition 2 stereo
outputs. (ie. 2 in / 4 out). You'll still need some hardware modification
to sync the clocks.
