This doesn't depends on driver. I know that W95 drivers offers MIDI, but
this is software emulation (which use second PCM channel provided by
ALSA)!!! MIDI port (to connect synthesizer) is already working. If you
want get MIDI from Ensoniq, you should use some software synthesizer -
like timidity.

Soundcards with AudioPCI chips are fully supported by ALSA (except one
trouble - MIC input for some soundcards).
