Ok, let me apologize in advance. This is a dumb question I'm sure. I
want to know about latency of the ALSA drivers under linux. I'm very
interested in doing Multi track recording in linux, it seems to me to
stand to reason that linux would be a better platform to windows for
this, as it's core is significantly faster, my card is an Ensoniq
AudioPCI, which according to ensoniq has an extremely low hardware
latency. Under windows it's ok, nothing spectacular though, I was
wondering if ALSA introduces any latency, also, if anyone out there has
used SLab, can they give me some pointers, because I have absolutely no
clue how to operate it (sorry, not entirely ALSA related)
