Hi there,

I'm running Debian Linux 2.0 and just subscribed to the alsa-users
mailing list. I specifically did not subscribe to the developpers list
because I'm not that good at programming. :-)
Which is also why I'm asking wether it is possible to make a
debian-package of the alsa-sound-system ? Until now I hardly succeed in
installing software from the source, but maintaining my system using
packages isn't giving me any serious problems. :-) Using Alien mosstimes
doesn't turn out to be succesfull either, so I guess the RPM's provided
on the ftp-site aren't of much use to me either...

Greetz,
	EJ
