Hello--

I'm new to ALSA, and was wondering if anyone can recommend a sound card that
would be best for my purposes. The main thing that I want to do is to
digitize my 4-track recordings and other things that I have on cassette
tape. So I am looking for a card that has a good stereo line-in jack and
that can reliably record cd-quality sound. (Until now I've been using my gus
with the old ultra driver, and using "brec" to make the recordings but I
still get buffer problems where the sound drops out; if someone could
recommend a better program to use for the actual recording, I would also
appreciate it).

Thanks.
