i have an Ensoniq AudioPCI (es1370), and the way i understand is that there
IS a difference between the 70 and 71...  it's not much, but even kernel
2.1.12x makes the distinction between the two.  things are pretty messy
with the AudioPCI cards ever since SB bought them out (and made them the
SB64 PCI or something like that...)(
