OK, I can understand that, but why is the quality worse with the same
sampling rate. It sounds like the input was too loud. But it sounded OK
when recorded via arecord. I used the same mixer settings (and IIRC my GUS
(rev. 2.4.) doesn't have a mixer onboard, so that shouldn't be the
problem.)
