Hello guys

I have a question, but it is not really related to technical points of ALSA.
However, as you are concerned about all that deals with sound, I think you
could provide me an answer.

Well, I was just wondering if it was possible to have sound multiplexed from
different sources. I have a SB 64 and, for exemple, I want to hear bells (like
the message bell in Licq) when using X11amp.

When I tried to play several audio files simultaneously, it always answered me
that he can't open /dev/dsp.

Is this a linux/kernel/structure problem, or a sound architecture one ?
Is this a limitation a linux, or is the development planned for this point, or
does it already exist (in that case, beat me, whip me !) ?

Thanks if you find time to answer this little question ...
