With alsadriver-0.1.1 there are no problems to load the snd-sb16.
But the 16 bit channel doesn't work: If I try to play some sound file
there is no sound and the command just hangs. 8 bit sound works fine.

PS: There is an error in the FAQ: cat "..." > /proc/sound/#/sb16 is wrong.
    This should be 'echo "..." > /proc/sound/#/sb16'.
