I've got pre8. Compiles fine, but I can't get the utils to compile. I
have and AWE64 ISA PnP. If I try to modprobe snd-sbawe, I get wavesynth
not found at 0x620. Using isapnp, I think I set it there...(by modifying
results of the pnpdump output)... I can install snd-sb16, and I can get
the mixer to work fine, but I can't play anything that uses the dsp. Amp
seems to be happy, but no sound. (I checked for muting) Also, in x11amp,
the timer doesn't count.. so I don't think it's actually playing... Any
ideas anyone?
