Has anyone had any luck on getting this piece of junk to work
properly with ANY Linux sound drivers? It is a Laptop 3D sound
device. Knowing NeoMagic's track record with releasability of
information, no one but myself is probably unfortunate enough to
use this thing.

It looks like it could be SB-compatible, but it isn't 100% register
compatible because the SB driver doesn't like it at all. In addition
it is probably Plug-and-Pray compatible as well. I can't really be
sure of this. If I'd had my choice I wouldn't have chosen this laptop,
but now that I have it... I could really use some help getting the
sound device configured and running.

Oh, the Laptop is one of the Gateway Solo 2500-LS... It has all
neomagic multimedia devices... I was fortunate enough to find the XBF
(actually I think it is the other) Xserver for it. But sound is another
issue.

Brandon.
