I haven't had any problems using ALSA with libc6.

I have two PCs: Pentium 75 and Celeron 450. I have two soundcards: GUS PnP
w/ 16 MB RAM and SB AWE64 Value. Both work perfectly on my P75, and the
GUS PnP works perfectly on my Celeron. I haven't tested the AWE on my
Celeron.

My glibc is version 2.0.6 and I'm using ALSA 0.2.0-pre8. I'm using kernel
versions 2.0.35 and 2.1.126.
