OK. More light for my users...

Audio device: Comes up when add-on OSS module snd-pcm1-oss is loaded to
              kernel.

Synth device: ES1370/1371 doesn't have any synth device (sorry, hardware
              limit). W$ drivers uses software wavetable!!!

Timer devices: ES1370/1371 doesn't have any onboard timers. Only system
               timer should be used with these soundcard. Timers are
               required only by sequencer which isn't done yet, thus
               standard timer module isn't loaded if soundcard doesn't
               have onboard timers.

Last thing: Anyone know why users ask for "bad" and "old" contents of
            /dev/sndstat? ALSA uses this file only for compatibility and
            in /dev/sndstat aren't very much information as in
            /proc/asound directory...
