Hmmm ... I have Gus PnP, too .... speakfreely worked once for me (with
2.0.34 and the "old" gus drivers),
but not now anymore, at least not ot of the box (2.1.122 and alsa). Must
be something in the emulation - sfspeaker just gives me "Device busy"
*sigh* ...

I never got there  .... 

BTW: Another question: x11amp has such strange glitches when playing,
glitches which it didn't have when using the gus drivers .... they are
especially strong when the CPU load gets higher ... what could that be ?
