Hi everyone,

I have since 2.1.119 major problems with OSS_minor support from ALSA :(

Here just my config:

Linux 2.1.121 SMP
RH 5.0
Glibc 2.07

ALSA 2.0pre7

By using an OSS-Application like X11amp (0.7) I only get the message "can not
locate module oss_minor_7" thats all.

Has anyone Ideas, Solutions to this problem ???

I ve read here on the list, that this may be an machiene dependend problem ? If
anyone with a 2.1.12x kernel is able to run ALSA, please report some status of
your machiene.

The rest of ALSA seems to work fine, only the OSS Support (for all x11amp users
vital) seems to be broken

Thanks for your help....

Bye
        Ernst
