Hi,

every time I try to access /dev/audio or /dev/dsp, I get a 'No such device'
error while /dev/pcm<xx> and aplay work nicely.

Kernel is 2.0.33 (with syndrop-patch), compiled without OSS/Lite, Soundcard
is SB16 ASP MultiCD (ISA, non-PnP).

/proc/sound/cards:
0 [sb16asp ]: SB16 - Sound Blaster 16
                     Sound Blaster 16 at 0x220, irq 5, dma 1&5

This happens with versions 0.1.0-pre4 and -pre5.

Btw, is there someone out there who has specifications on programming the
ASP-Chip, or is there even software for it?
