Hi,

Well after hearing some oppinions on whats ALSA and at the stage it is, i
decided I wont mix with it. Im just got linux about 3 moths ago and as a novice, i
cannot apport to ALSA very much. Probably i will have many problems with the
installation. But i noticed something strange in the driver im using (OSS/lite),
and so im getting ALSA when it will go to `stable' or for `everyone'.
Im getting bored doing novice linux stuff at my system, and as consider me as a
musican im VERY interesting in this sound-stuff. Where can i get some information?
At ALSA homepage is informatio about ALSA, but i want information about gerneral
audio stuff. Information about for example how works audio-drivers, how do it
interprete MIDI signals, or how to send a funcion [f(x)=sin(4*PI\log(r)] to the
soundcard, ...

So, i hope ALSA is going `usable' quickly ;)

Thanks, Phillip Neumann
