I have gotten the sonicvibes module running on my system --
congratulations to everyone who worked on it.

One question: The volume level produced under this driver is EXTREMELY
low. Under Thomas Sailer's Miscdevice module, sound volume was
comparable to the levels under Windows95. I have the sound card driven
through some external amplified speakers. Under Windows95/Miscdevice
module the external volume settings are the same. Under ALSA, I have to
crank my volume way way up, plus set internal mixer levels very high to
get the sound to register.

Is there perhaps a bad setting in the source file that could be adjusted
to increase the native volume?

Thanks,

-Brent
