Hi,

 i have a Procomp s271 soundcard (pnpdump says: ALS0110).
The card can use DMA 0, 1 and 3 but none of the higher channels.
(But it claims to be SB16 compatible)

I managed to get the card working with DMA 0&1 (i read the ViBRA16X
posting), but it doesn't work full duplex. When i try to record (8 bit)
while a playback (16 bit) is running, the playback is killed.
This seems to happen at the end of snd_sb16_record_prepare in
lowlevel/sb/sb16.c

With DOS and the s271 drivers full duplex works, using DMA 0 & 1.
Using OSS/* full duplex does not work.

Any ideas how to solve this ?

ciao,
heinz
