Nothing is wrong... Both devices are obsolete and no longer exist... All
information about driver / soundcards should be get from /proc/sound
directory...

If you want use /proc/sound/detect, you should insert snd-detect module
without other modules (except kernel module - snd). If some soundcard is
registered, detection interface isn't working.
