Hi there,

I've been attempting to get ALSA working for a while now, I've tried the
CVS stuff as of 11/3/99 and the offically released version.

The problem is unresolved symbols on startup:

(root@twilight) (/lib/modules/2.2.2-ac6/misc)>insmod snd
./snd.o: unresolved symbol unregister_sound_dsp
./snd.o: unresolved symbol register_sound_dsp
./snd.o: unresolved symbol unregister_sound_special
./snd.o: unresolved symbol register_sound_special

I've not been able to fix this at all, I tried using modprobe as well
but it dies with the same error. Is this a stupid mistake on my part
or is something broken?

I have an AWE 64 (PnP I hope, ISA for sure.) if that helps. :)

Or are you referring to the drooling herds of unwashed sheeplike members
of the public out there? Those are not "people". Those are "targets".
