Yes, it's true.  Trident wrote an ALSA driver for the 4DWave and delivered
it and all documentation to Jaroslav a couple of weeks ago.  Trident is
releasing the driver under the GPL.  Please be sure to thank Trident for
their efforts to support the Linux community.  They have really chosen
the best possible way to do this.
