Hi,

I have got a very strange problem with my SB PCI 128 and the recent
version of ALSA: I cannot record anything at all with "arecord".

I've tried everything with the alsamixer, the sound is definitely not
muted. No recording works, neither from CD nor from Line-In. The strange
thing: I can hear the sound of the CD and/or or Line-In on line out.
And I can perfectly play WAVE-Files and .au files with aplay (although
sometime a "Write failed" or something like that appears, but it seems
not to have any influence at all).

Does anyone know, what is going wrong here?

Ciao
  Christoph

P.S.: Has anyone got multitrack to with with ALSA? AFAIK, it depends on
/dev/sndstat, which is not avaiable on ALSA.
