when i set up my AudioPCI (es1730), i used the alsaconf script to get the
correct stuff in my /etc/conf.modules ...  if you are having trouble
figuring out what to put in there, i suggest that script (downloadable from
the alsa ftp site)

i think the card name is snd-audiopci...  i use the alsasound utility in
the ./utils dir in the alsadriver package...
