Hi all!

I released new version of all current ALSA packages (driver, lib
and utils). Library and utilities package doesn't contain new things,
only configuration was a little bit changed and RPM spec file was added.
Driver contains lots bug fixes (from 1.0.4-pre1 patch) and new RPM spec
file.
RPMs are available!! I prepared RPM packages for RedHat 4.2 & 5.X
which contains library and utilities. RPM package with driver isn't
released yet (I'm using own modularized kernel which differs from RedHat's
kernel).
Looks like that no people is working on support for PCI boards.
I have one local sponsor here, so I'll have Ensoniq PCI and S3 SonicVibes
soundcards soon. I have now documentation for Yamaha OPL3-SA[23] chips
now, too. I expect that some first releases with support for Yamaha and
maybe for PCI soundcards will be avaliable next month. I'm planning some
next work on ALSA driver documentation for driver programmers, too.
Sequencer - looks like that Frank van de Pol is working continuously
on first sequencer code and proposal. I'm expecting that first kernel
interface should be done next month - I want add support for GUS/InterWave
onboard synthesizer soon (porting code from ultra driver).
