What kind of box have you got? I'm running Red Hat 5.2.

All of the applications _appear_ to run, but there is no sound what so ever.
Did you have to configure your kernel in any way? I was running the OSS
drivers for a while, so I have no native sound support compiled in.

Are you running KDE / GNOME? I'm trying to configure GNOME to run the sound
as well.
