Whoops. I took a better look at their homepage (www.opti.com) and I found
out that they don't directly make soundcards, but chipsets for other
companies/products. However some time ago I bought a very cheap WSS & SB PRO
emulation card by OPTi. I could find an explanation of the emulation control
ports in a PDF file on the OPTi home page. However I can't find the tech
sheets anymore (the homepage design has changed a lot). On the other side I
saw a PDF about a OPTi sound chip some days ago - don't know the URL, sorry.
