Well, I'll hack on up for you if I get one carmp3 player for free *g*
Seriously, there's very little software being written, if at all, for
SVgalib.  You can try a bare bones X install with just enough to get the X
screen going in 320x200 (only the server + required libs) and 1 or 2
fonts. Then you could use one of the many X11 front-ends...
