I've recently installed the latest version of alsa, and everything seems
to work except recording in stereo. I've tried using the arecord util and
also a couple other programs using the OSS compatibility. Whenever I try
to record a .wav or .au or whatever file in stereo, when I play it back
there is only sound on the left channel. But if I record the same file in
mono it will play back on both channels.. Has anyone else had this
problem? I'm using a sb awe64.
Thanks, Chris.
