Just a thought, has anyone ever considered an open Sound-Card design
project? There is open source software, the open source processor design,
and even modifications to sound cards -- such as Interwave based boards.
Why not design and build your own sound card and drivers, build with ALSA in
mind. Does this seem pointless when comercial sound devices are available?
