Hi there; I've just about got the 0.3.0 release working nicely now with my
ens1370 card (even with UltraHLE under Wine-- that's one /spooky/ piece of
software :-) ). The only problem is that my mic doesn't work; originally I had
a Macintosh microphone which wasn't balanced correctly as it was barely audible
under Windows, so I went and bought one of the plastic OEM mic-on-a-stand
things. You know the sort.

Anyway, if I look at the level monitor in KRecord, cover the mic and make a low
sound into it, it barely registers at around 4-5% and the sound that is played
back is barely audible, and a little distorted. My mic balance under
alsamixer is at 100% and set to be the only recording device; any ideas what's
going wrong?
