I have been using the ALSA driver (0.3.0-pre2) for a few weeks, and it
has worked beautifully with my SB pci64 card -- thanks.

This evening I decided to look at the possibilities of using the "line
in to output" setting on the card. I turned it on with alsactl, and
can now play audio to headphones connected to my pc (via the sound
card "line in"), while a separate audio stream goes out to some
speakers in another room (via the soundcard line out).

Now setting the volume with "pcm 1" changes the line out level, and
setting "pcm" mixes into the line out the sound from the "line in"
stream (not that useful for me at the moment, but cool :-). What I'd
like to know is whether it is possible to control the volume of the
output to the "line in"?

Thanks!

-Dave.
