Hi!
First of all, please send a CC to j.l.gomez-dans@sheffield.ac.uk, as I'm
not subscribed to this list.

I recently got hold of an ESS Solo1 card, and I downloaded the latest
versions of the whole alsa software (drivers, libs and utils). When I try to
compile the drivers, when I exec ./configure, it complains that
/usr/src/linux/include/linux/version.h isn't present. In fact, there's not a
single file that relates the kernel version to a file version.h in v2.2.1.
The only version.h in this version of the kernel is in the maths coprocessor.

Is there any way to get around this problem?
   Thanks!
   Jose
