you don't by any chance have the 2.2.0 sound compiled into the kernel, do
you?  either that, or OSS/Linux or the like running?  these both produced
similar errors for me...  also, sometimes the appz i was running caused it
(ie mixers, mp3 players, wmsound, etc)
