Hello.

I've read somewhere that all GUS cards have 16 digital stereo channels.
Does that mean that the GUS can play several WAV's, AU's, MP3's etc at the
same time doing the mixing in hardware? When I make a mistake in my
bootmanager and end up in windows 95 I have noticed that I can play mp3
and still hear those silly windows-sounds when I play on the start-panel.
Yesterday I tried to play two AVI's and I could hear sound from both of
them.

When can I do that in Linux? Or is it possible today? How?

      TIA, Lars Nordlund
