Well, with OSS and my TB malibu's wavetable synth, cat foobar.mid >
/dev/midi "works"... but the midi data is dumped at the card all at once
with no regard to timing. The results bear little resemblance to the
original file. I do it just for fun sometimes, but it's no substitute
for a midi player.
