The so-called "linux driver" is only CS4232 AFAIK.

I tried to start off a SAM9407-driver for ALSA. As I currently is
overwhelmed with school-work and my military service starts in January,
so consider the project on hold/terminated for now on. The work of Gerd
Rausch could be an interesting start of making a driver, but the real
challenge is to understand the structure of ALSA ;). In other words: the
hardware "thoughts" were all there, but I didn't know how to implement
them in the ALSA.

It would be a nice move by someone who understands the ALSA well and
have a well-structured language and thinking to write sort of an report
on the structure of the ALSA. The gritty reference is all in the *.[hc}s
but what's lacking IMHO is a document concerning the technical "birds
view". This is of course difficult for anyone to document the code of
another person (if Jaroslav won't do this) but it would sure help
potentional driver-makers a lot (obviously).
