Hmm, that's right :) ..I just downloaded Gerd Knorr's version (xawtv 2.30) and that
one also
seems to be fixed for the new scheduling. Here is what I'm using:

2.1.128 from kernel.org
xawtv 2.30 with the acccompanied bttv driver
ALSA from CVS
Hauppauge WinTV/Radio (model 418)

And this is what my conf.modules look like:

alias scsi_hostadapter aic7xxx
alias eth0 ne2k-pci
alias char-major-14 snd
alias snd-minor-oss-0 snd-sb16
alias snd-minor-oss-3 snd-pcm1-oss
alias snd-minor-oss-4 snd-pcm1-oss
alias snd-minor-oss-5 snd-pcm1-oss
alias snd-minor-oss-12 snd-pcm1-oss
alias snd-card-0 snd-sb16
options snd snd_major=14 snd_cards_limit=1
options snd-sbawe snd_port=0x220 snd_irq=5 snd_dma8=1 snd_dma16=5
options bttv card=2 radio=1 pll=0 vidmem=0xe20

This combination works great, except that the msp3400 module is still screwing up
scheduling when changing channels (I'm going to check why)...

Hope this helps in some way,

Andy
