Frank, I'm planning to dedicate a second machine here to running Linux.
When it is set up I'll use it as a test-bed for various things,
including running my sound apps with only the ALSA driver/API. I'll
notify you when it's in place and we can start digging into your code.
Btw, I think your pages are excellent: you've obviously thought through
the issues involved, and we do need your improvements.
