Hi!

I'm getting an oops in snd_sb8_compute_rate when I load Quake.

It only happens when it's the first time the driver has been used
since insertion. It seems to happen at the line:

  pchn -> real_rate = (256000000 / (65536 - (codec -> speed8 << 8))) / pchn
-> voices;

In the SB Pro section.

This has got me really confused - I've checked the pointers involved,
but they seem to be fine (not changed since
snd_sbdsp_new_device). Also, the requested rate seems OK.

Attached to this message is a trace of one of the oopses I've had.
