Hi all!

New driver 0.2.0-pre6 contains major extensions for ALSA API
(switches interfaces) and some API updates for PCM and MIXER.
Unfortunately due to big changes in source codes and file renaming from
sound to asound (to avoid conflict with current 2.1.X kernels and in
future), old ALSA C libraries doesn't work with this driver. Upgrade of
all packages (driver, library and utilities) and new complete
installation is required.
What's new? Support for Ensoniq AudioPCI ES1370 added. Code for
ES1371 is available, but it's not tested so it probably doesn't work
(my testers are sleeping probably). Universal switches interfaces are now
available for control, mixer, pcm and rawmidi. This interface allows
access to specific features of soundcards (like MIC gain, MIDI routing
etc..). PCM interface is extended with pause ioctl, hardware format list
and ADC overrange detection. There are also fixed major things in
Yamaha OPL3-SA[2,3] mixer which should generate oopses by insmod time.
Added support for 2.1.118+ kernels.
Plan for near future: Complete 0.2.0 code and release stable 0.2.0
version soon as possible. Please, report all bugs from now.
