Applogies to people that have tried to run my sequencer experiments under
Linux 2.0.x versions.

Last night I installed RedHat 4.2 (kernel 2.0.30) on my system, and found
numourous problems that didn't show up with the 2.1.96 kernel. Hopefully
these are killed now. Playback of midi files using the shipped example
programs works now on both Linux versions.

In addition I've added support for both real-time and tick events, and
enhanced the timer to support tempo (and tempo changes).

The latest snapshot is now "snapshot-11Jul1998.tar.gz".

Cheers,
Frank.
