If above line doesn't generate error (check /var/log/messages), then
bellow command (amixer) must work if native devices are created properly
(snddevices)...

Note: snddevices script were updated (changed) up to stable 0.1.0 version
driver... If someone have trouble with newer version of ALSA driver -
he/she should go through all steps mentioned in INSTALL file...

Please, answer to my questions:

1. Is there /proc/sound/0 directory?
2. File /proc/sound/0/mixer0 exist and can be read?
3. Can you do 'strace amixer'?
