It's great for doing hard realtiming in Linux.. have a look at
http://www.rtlinux.org :)

I just wanted to make sure that you wouldn't make a module that conflicts
with what I was trying to do ;).. I'm not sure, but I think one cannot have
more than one timer running. If you are going to use the RTC, I'd like to
know about it in an early stage so I could help or be afraid or something ..
