Yes, it seems that using LyX isn't very good for our purposes. It was my
mistake. We need the documentation mainly in HTML (with pictures) and we
also need the printable documentation in one file (PDF format seems to be
best for this purpose).

I think that there is still one paragraph for the discussion.

  * Binary-only drivers cannot be based on any ALSA
    source code. They must be written from scratch.
    Binary-only drivers that contain ALSA code are
    infringing on copyright laws.

We must probably show the hardware driver makers what they can really
do.

- include ALSA header files without modifications in their code
- use exported functions from ALSA modules
