I'm not sure if an information about EMU 10k chip is enough for writting
a driver for the SB Live. The EMU 10k chip is probably behind some custom
PCI chip (CODEC/MIXER/PCI i/o) which was developed by Creative. Without
good knowledge of this custom chip we cannot do good driver.

I don't have any contact with the EMU company, but I don't restrict anyone
to try to obtain the documentation.
