 I got SB VibraX16 Pnp working today.
The trick is to set the dma16 to 3 - this disables it completely
and it workes fine with shared dma-8. 

Note that this might require small changes in alsa - I made some along 
the way to allow for this setting, but I don't think they affected
anything. The default configuration of alsa set dma16 to 6 - which was
clearly the wrong value.

 I'll try to get Full-Duplex working - my bet is this card has simply
two identical 8-bit channels.
