Thanks for the info.

I would like to put up a page with a list of various hardware
products, saying how their manufacturers have or have not cooperated
with the free software movement.  While I'm most concerned about
support in Linux and X11, because those affect the GNU/Linux system, I
think it would be good to mention support in other free systems as
well.

Maybe it would be useful to start with sound cards.  Would you or
other ALSA people like to work on this sort of page for us?

This would be a natural place to praise the cooperation from Trident.
