Hi Andrea,

  I got the bt103.zip test program off of the web pages and have been working 
with that.  The problem is that at the moment I cannot even talk to the codec 
yet.

  My guess is that we can get an alsa driver going that supports the mixer 
(through the ac97 codec) and 16 bit pcm sound playback.  Unfortunately, I have 
no idea how the wave cache works, nor the assp, so I guess we won't be able to 
have midi synthesis in hardware.

  I've started adding snd-es1968 (low level driver) and snd-essmaestro2 to 
alsa.  Let me know if you want the sources; they're just based on the solo1 
stuff.
