Hello!

I have some problems with the "Line-In" device of my soundcard using the
ALSA-drivers on an Acer Extensa 367 T notebook.

My problem: Even if all devices are muted and the volume is "zero" I can
record music on the right channel of the Line-In device. Furthermore the right
channel is not adjustable (always on maximum). It's possible to change the
values with the mixer programs but the recorded level of the right channel is
still on maximum. Somehow the right channel of Line-In is circumventing the
master level and muting and the Line-In level and muting.

Thanks in advance for your help

  Daniel Hempel
